Reduce The Food Stress
Because feeding kids sometimes feels like negotiating with tiny food critics.
Picking something to cook when you are not even sure your child will eat it is exhausting.
You can spend time making dinner, try something new, and still end up with someone asking for toast instead.
And while chicken nuggets and bacon are dependable, they cannot be the only two food groups forever.
So instead of giving you a complicated meal plan, here are the recipes that actually worked in our house. Not perfect. Not fancy. Just meals my picky eater ate without a fight.
Meals That Worked For Us
These are repeat requests in our house
These are the ones that got finished. The ones that did not turn into negotiations. The ones I can make without bracing myself. Yes, they are all Chinese food recipes. Apparently that is our family’s personality at the moment.
If You Try Something New
Lower the pressure
- Keep one safe food on the plate.
- Do not introduce three new foods at once.
- Let one win be enough for the week.
You are not trying to create a perfect menu. You are trying to reduce stress and keep everyone fed. That counts.
